Hi all, My 2007 Escape was broken into the other night. It was in my driveway. It WAS locked and the alarm was set. When I came out the next morning to go to work I noticed my drivers side door looked like it wasn't closed all the way. When I looked into the car, there was a bunch of stuff on the drivers seat and the middle console door was open. It then dawned on me that It was broken into. Luckily I could find no damage whats so ever. I checked all around all of the doors, looking at the rubber around the door and everything looked fine. My question is, if the car was locked and alarmed how in the hell are crooks getting in with out breaking a window or setting off an alarm? Is there a device out now that lets them into cars somehow. They broke into my neighbors car last week. Same senario. 02 jeep grand cherokee Locked and alarmed. Anyone got any ideas? Thanks!
