The majority of Ford cars aren't fast though the Mondeo & the Focus are probably two of the best family cars you can get, they are fantastic at producing practical cars.

Ford cars are not fast but they are reliable & stable to move swiftly on roads.
We do not want these cars to participate in races & so do not want high speed but the petrol engine must be high configured.

Unless the manufacturer is targeting sports cars most companies don't have a majority of fast cars. Even so, in North America, Ford has and had some very sporty models. Mustang, SHO (which is coming back in 2010 with 365 HP), Ford GT and even in the early 2000's they had the Ford SVT Lightning pickup that was quite fast. Actually, the Fiesta RS subcompact is supposed to come out in the UK in 2010 and is supposed to be rated for 200 bhp with a top speed of 140 mph.
