Why I ask this question is, I will admit I am an ex "punk rocker" as embarrassed as I am to say that. In reality punks are one of the snobbiest cliques there were in high school. Those that were not "punk enough" were shunned. They were worse than the in crowd. I proudly gave up that B*llsh*t my first year of college. I am now 30 years old with a job/family/responsibilities... Anyway, what got me thinking about this was, I recently ran into an old high school "friend" i had not seen in 12 years. He was also a "punk" in school. And to my surprise at the age of 30 he is still running around living the "punk" lifestyle, clothes, hair... and so forth. Has a part time mall job, lives at home, seems to hang out with those much younger than him... Am I wrong in thinking that he is just plain sad and shows a lack of maturity? Or am I just being an old "fuddy duddy"? I want your thoughts on this!
