It's been awhile since I have come back here, but I return once again. Tonight I was working on a relative's 1999 Grand Am GT 3.4 w/ AT-OD, 92K miles, and just had the weirdest thing happen: I was detailing the car, and noticed the heater blower was running all by itself! At the time the key was in the ignition, but 'OFF', and the blower, which was on high, continued to run on high...I turned the key on, turned the switch off, and turned the key off. It stopped after the second time of turning the key on, only to come back on later with the key removed. After turning the key on again, and getting the speed switch to sort of work, (it turned it down but not off), it intermittently turned off and on by itself for 15-20 minutes. I unhooked the battery to make it stop, and keep it from running the battery down. I suspect a relay switch, but couldn't find it. Does anybody know what the frig is going on here? Is there a relay for the blower, and should I try replacing it? BTW, I washed the engine along with the rest of the car if that points to anything, but it didn't start this until hours later....the battery was replaced a week ago. Thanks! automan9482
