Of all the Mercury's offered over the years I'd have to say the Marauder is my favorite. I love the '69 and '70 models. Even the later four doors were great looking cars and suit the name well. I think partly I just love the name, one of the best car names around IMO.
Surpisingly they only produced the Merc Marauders a few years in total. They produced three generations, first from 1963 to 1965, second from 1969 to 1970 and then the third and latest was from 2003 to 2004.
